What others say…
“The theory, technique, tips and tricks that we learnt were essential in the establishment of our clinic and our own professional development. Patient treatment planning, laboratory communication, and marketing rely on the ability to take great images. We learnt so much from Ian, don’t think about it, just get yourself booked on one of his online or hands-on courses.”

DENTER courses are designed for dentists who want to deliver modern, aesthetic, adhesive restorative dentistry to a high standard — whether you're transitioning from NHS to private practice, a recent graduate building your skills, or an experienced clinician sharpening your technique. The blended learning format means everyone arrives with the same baseline, and the small group sizes mean teaching is pitched to your level.
-
Every DENTER course fee covers the hands-on training day(s), three years' access to the online pre-course platform with presentations, PDFs and reading materials, all course materials used on the day, and lunch and refreshments. Two-day courses also include an evening meal between days. You arrange your own travel and accommodation. Bring loupes if you use them and your usual clinical eyewear — everything else is provided.

Yes. All ECPD hours stated are verifiable and meet GDC requirements. Hours vary by course — typically 8–10 for a one-day course and 20 for a two-day course, including the pre-course online learning. You'll receive a certificate after completion.

Unlike many other courses, numbers are deliberately small — 12 to 16 delegates depending on the course. This is non-negotiable. The hands-on format only works if every delegate gets individual attention and feedback, and that's not possible with bigger groups. Once a course is full, it's full.

In keeping with many Private courses, our policy is to try and be flexible and accommodating, however last minute cancellations or requests for refunds once a place has been booked and secured by payment would cause considerable disruption and viability of the programmes. Therefore all bookings are non-refundable. Subject to availability it may be possible to move to the following years intake, or even between regional intakes. It may be necessary to alter the proposed timetable and as much notice as possible will be given, this may be due to Pandemic, Weather conditions, Illness etc. We ask that participants are understanding if dates have to be rescheduled and a consensus will be agreed between all delegates; options for transfer to another group or year will always be available.
