FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS / TERMS & CONDITIONS

WHO ARE THESE COURSES DESIGNED FOR?

The course is designed for dentists already in Private practice, or want to change from the NHS into more Private practice. We are confident that all those dentists who take this course will improve their treatment planning, clinical work, and find increased job satisfaction.

HOW MUCH PRACTICAL/ HANDS-ON IS THERE?

The course is designed to provide an ideal mix of theory, discussion, and hands-on elements. Due to the blended learning experience each of the 4 Modules is designed to be just that….. hands-on. All the theory, your questions etc. should have been answered in the Structured Online Recorded teaching.

WILL I TREAT LIVE PATIENTS ON THE COURSE?

There will be no treatment of live patients. However you should expect to practice some non-invasive techniques on each other, use of facebows, taking of clinical photographs.

WHAT EXACTLY DOES THE COURSE FEE COVER?

The course fee includes all online recording, live tuition, refreshments, lunches, manuals, all materials such as composite, tooth models, bur kits etc.

DO I HAVE TO SIGN UP FOR ALL THE MODULES?

Each 2 day Module can be taken as it is and is self-contained. Depending upon your experience, interest, and other courses attended recently, you may benefit from taking 1 Module, multiple Modules, or all 4 of the Modules.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I MISS A HANDS-ON DAY

Provided ideally we have a few weeks notice that you cannot attend a particular day we would be more than happy to accommodate you on the equivalent day for the following years intake without further charge. It might also be possible to accommodate within the same year at a different location.

HOW MANY CPD HOURS CAN I CLAIM

Each 2 Day Modules awards a certificate of 20 Verifiable eCPD hours.

CANCELLATIONS/ REFUNDS

In keeping with many Private courses, our policy is to try and be flexible and accommodating, however last minute cancellations or requests for refunds once a place has been booked and secured by payment would cause considerable disruption and viability of the programmes. Therefore all bookings are non-refundable. Subject to availability it may be possible to move to the following years intake, or even between regional intakes. It may be necessary to alter the proposed timetable and as much notice as possible will be given, this may be due to Pandemic, Weather conditions, Illness etc. We ask that participants are understanding if dates have to be rescheduled and a consensus will be agreed between all delegates; options for transfer to another group or year will always be available.
