Dr Ian Cline, Course Director

Ian has presented numerous courses for the past 15 years to dentists both Nationally and Internationally (including recent trips to Lithuania, Latvia, Dubai, Russia, Ireland, Spain, Poland, Kuwait, Egypt). His experience is from teaching small hands-on masterclasses, to being a keynote speaker at international conferences to more than five hundred. He has spoken at both the British Dental Association National Conference and the Irish Dental Association Annual Conference.

He is very much a wet fingered dentist, and is a partner in a Central London Private Practice. Here he carries out all manner of general and aesthetic dentistry. His first teaching was over 20 years ago on the subject of Clinical Dental Photography, subject he still teaches to this day, he is the founder of photographyfordentists.com which is now incorporated within the Denter brand.

His main interests are in Minimally Invasive Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry, and Anterior and Posterior Direct Composite. He is a past President of the London Dental Study Club, and is a Guest Lecturer to the King’s College London MSc programmes in Fixed & Removal Prosthodontics. He has been a member of the International Jury Panel for the Global CeramX case contest for the past 4 years. He is an opinion leader and advisor to a number of dental companies and is the author of the Dentsply “how to guide” on simplifying posterior composite restorations.

Ian is a pioneer in the field of online education and has given numerous webinars worldwide for many years, a number of these have been recorded and several are available at the Dentsplysirona Academy DENTSPLYSIRONA

Dr Nika Abolsedgh

Nika divides her Clinical time between two Private Clinics in London. She is known for creating beautiful bespoke smiles, to salvaging heavily restored and worn dentitions, Nika has an exceptional range of clinical talents. She has a keen interest in biomimetic dentistry, the preservation of intact tooth structure whilst replicating nature as closely as possible.

Dr Paul Baker, Periodontist

Paul Baker qualified in 1992 from Kings College School of Medicine and Dentistry. He spent two years working in hospital oral and maxillofacial surgery followed by a short stint working in general dental practice. In 1996 he started an MSc in periodontology at Guys Hospital. In 1998 he continued with a Master of Clinical Dentistry degree at Kings College London, which he passed with distinction. He was one of the first dentists to finish a specialist training pathway recognised by the General Dental Council and after passing the Royal College of Surgeons Membership in Restorative Dentistry was awarded a certificate of completion of specialist training in 2000.

Since 2000 he has worked in specialist practice, limited to the treatment of periodontal disease and implant surgery. He has taught at all levels within dentistry, from teaching undergraduates at Guys hospital to specialist level courses on advanced surgical techniques for the British Society of Periodontology. He started his training in implant dentistry in 1994, and has been involved in teaching implant dentistry since 2003.

Dr Neeraj Diddee

BDS, MFGDP, Dip Rest Dent, RCS (Eng)

Neeraj was born and brought up in Durham and has recently resided back to Durham after graduating with BDS from Newcastle University in 2005.

Neeraj has a keen interest in Restorative Dentistry and has completed many postgraduate education courses within this field, including a yearlong course in Advanced Restorative Dentistry in 2008. In 2014 Neeraj successfully gained a Diploma in Restorative Dentistry through the FGDP.

Neeraj joined Alpha Dental Group in 2010 as a partner having worked as an Associate with Ian and Ben at The Dental Centre in Middlesbrough from 2006-2009. He practices clinically from the Fairfield site in Stockton.

Neeraj was appointed Training Programme Director with Health Education England, working across the North East and North Cumbria in 2014. He also has a qualified teaching certificate and teaches direct composite restorations to Foundation Dentists and General Dentists within the North East.

Dr Gordon Penman

BDS (Hons) MSc MFGDP (UK) MFDS RCS (Eng)

Gordon has over 30 years experience in NHS and Mixed Practice in the East Coast of Scotland. He has extensive experience in Dental Education starting as a Vocational Trainer, then as a Speciality Dentist at Dundee Dental Hospital and School supervising Undergraduate students. He is currently a Dental Practice Advisor for Fife Health Board and involved in strategy development and governance programmes and is lead on the Practice Inspection programme for Fife. 

He is a member of the Dentsply Sirona Restorative Key Opinion Leader Group for the UK and has delivered many presentations and hands-on courses on a number of restorative topics including; Posterior composite solutions ; The Endodontic/ Restorative interface ; Simplified aesthetic anterior composite restorations. He also provides post graduate courses for NES and NIMDTA and is currently developing Blending learning programmes for the dental team at NES.

He is a former Chair of the  Fife Area Dental Committee and sits on several clinical and governance committees in Fife. In 2021 he was appointed as a Clinical Dental Adviser with the General Dental Council.

Dr Gian-Marco D’Andrea

Dr. Gian-Marco D’Andrea graduated from King’s College London in 2017 with a degree in dentistry and physiology/pharmacology. His passion for dentistry has led him to seek out further training and mentorship from international and world-renowned dentists to be able to offer the best care possible to his patients. He enjoys providing minimally invasive aesthetic smile enhancements using a combination of tooth alignment, composite bonding, and or porcelain veneers. He also has a keen interest in ensuring your mouth is set up to function comfortably and pain free for many years by providing a range of general dental treatments such as; fillings, root canals and crowns.

His patients have often commented on his calm mannerism and caring attitude, which can put at ease even the most nervous patient. In his spare time Gian-Marco enjoys spending time with his family, usually in the presence of food, snowboarding down the alpine mountains of Italy or dancing in one of London’s many Latin American music venues.

Kerry Wellington

Kerry Wellington qualified at Kings College Dental Hospital over 10 years ago achieving a dual qualification in Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy. She has since worked in the private dental sector helping practices implement oral hygiene packages that offered the best oral hygiene care and education. She has experience and qualifications in dental aesthetics including composite bonding and direct anterior and posterior restorations. Kerry also runs her own dental and facial aesthetics business and is keen to share her passion with fellow Dental Therapists.
